STN LTD CELEBRATES ON THE 11TH MAY 2009

STN celebrated its official company launch on the 11th May 2009. It was attended by some of the most distinguished guests from the world trade press, WTA (World Teleport Association), Satellite owners / operators and business partners from the Broadcast Industry. It was attended in total by some 125 selected guests.

It was truly a momentous day and enjoyed by all. To start the weather was beautiful reaching at least 32 degrees with a little breeze. The string quartet was playing light evergreen music and the grand white marquee tent kept all guests, food and drinks cool.
All guests were invited for a tour of the newly constructed teleport and office facility spanning across 5,000 m² leaving a further 15,000 m² of STN land available for future planned development.

On constant display in the front of the premises was a short movie of the building and development of the new facility. In addition to this and available for inside viewing were the OB and DSNG vans of the newly acquired company DVB pro (Digital Video Broadcasting) now part of the STN GROUP. The members of the OB van crew were showing their expertise by recording the whole event. (A small clip of which can be viewed on attached link).

One of the highlights of the day was the wonderful speeches and special words and wishes made by our guest speakers. A very warm welcome speech was made first by Mr. Andrej Lovsin. CEO of STN d.o.o, who then introduced Mr. Olivier Milles Lacroix - Commercial Director of Eutelsat followed by Mr. Dragan Solak- CEO, SBB ( Serbia Broadband) and Our Mayor Mr. Toni Dragar made the last speech of the day followed by the traditional cutting of the ribbon (appropriately in the colours of the Slovenian flag) to officially open the facility.

It was indeed a special day for us here at STN and one that will stay not only in our memories but that of our guests too.
