To achieve this STN needed to extend its current capacity and acquired an additional platform on Eutelsat's W2 satellite, which now has a prime orbital position in the region. With this additional platform STN has become one of the leading providers of Video and Audio services on 16 degrees East. Eutelsat have recognized the strength of their W2 satellite and have reacted with the planned launch of a new replacement satellite W2M by the end of this year 2008. STN has already secured additional capacity on the new satellite, which will allow further expansion capabilities for our current partners and potential for new clients.
