STN goes mobile and acquires majority shares in DVB
At the end of June 2009 the STN d.o.o legally crossed all T’s and dotted the Is on all Government paper work to add DVB to the company group.
STN (Satellite Telecommunications Network) expanded its presence in the OU market in a significant way following the acquisition of SNG specialist DVB .STN now owns major shares in the newly branded company DVB part of the STN Group. DVB’s OB and DSNG vans are equipped with the latest digital technology and its experienced technical crew ensures the highest quality live production including sport, cultural and entertainment events. DVB have been entrusted with live events such as Miss Universe Slovenia 2009 which was viewed by millions on Slovenians national television station RTV. Other accomplishments were the coverage of the official visits of the Queen of England and the President to America, Mr. George W Bush to Slovenia.
More recently DVB broadcasted the Killers concert in Slovenia.
DVB part of the STN Group has the vision and the technology to become one of the largest mobile production companies in CEE region. Now as part of the STN group DVB’s live events can now be broadcasted worldwide.
