Earlier this year  2009 STN using the AB4A satellite situated at 7° degrees west,  sent CCTV's (China Central Television) new Arabic International channel to the Middle East and North Africa enabling millions of people in Arab Countries to watch programs from China via their satellite dish.

CCTV's new Arabic International channel is a crucial strategic measure to make them multilingual and widen its coverage.

CCTV have entrusted STN as their partner to strengthen their presence  and bring Chinese television furher around the world.

STN is currently the only European teleport with direct access to the AB4A satellite.
